Rainy Season

Yes, in Arizona we have a "rainy season" that we refer to as "monsoon season". Seriously, that's what it's called. I'm not making it up. July, August and September are usually our "monsoon months". Although we don't get a lot of rain, we get more than usual during those months. We get about 7-9 inches per year, on average. So, our kids aren't really used to having puddles around...It is a lot of fun when we do!

So you go from heat to rain? Fun. Or is it still warm when it rains? I couldn't imagine not having more rain than that through out the year. Remember, I grew up in Oregon so rain is essential!

Love the puddle pictures! Get one with your kids using a big puddle as a wading pool or maybe that's just Eli.

No, it isn't just him. Maya put her head in the puddle yesterday so her hair was all muddy. It is still hot when it rains. From about October to April it is beautiful though...usually worth the wait.

You are such a good mom to let them just be kids! They are so cute.

It looks like fun. I went for my walk in the rain a couple of days ago, the first time the weather hasn't been good. But I found that I liked the rain.
