Body Art

Shayne is very dramatic. He loves anything that involves pretending and getting "in character". Maya likes to paint on anything and everything, especially herself. I'm glad that at least for the time being it is the washable stuff... Here are a few pictures. The one with the red paint is the oldest one and was taken when Maya was three. She was red down to her knees. Anyone else's kids like to draw or paint on themselves or is it just mine?

Rebecca loves to paint on herself. Whenever she is coloring or painting I have to watch to make sure she isn't "painting her nails". She will also use the bath tub crayons to paint on herself. Luckly she hasn't started to paint on Benjamin.

Oh my! And the fact that they are in their swimming suits. Well, it's just not fair!

Your kids are awesome! You are such a fun mom. I frequently have to ban my children from any type of marker/paint/polish/pen anything! I am such a mean mom!

cute cute cute! of course...painting themselves (and their siblings) was a favorite past time of my kids...enjoy it, because they will grow out of it...although, now that I think about it, it gets replaced with fun things like taping themselves (I'll post pics) and covering themselves with dirt and mud, or getting into a spit fight with the colored mouth wash (horrible invention!!) ...yeah, now that I think of it...enjoy the paint, who knows what they will find to replace it.....

Oh yes! Eli is constantly coloring on himself. He loves to do it. I figure that there is only so many years when they can get away with this and this is the time. Dayle doesn't color on her whole body, usually just colors her nails draws a bracelet on herself, etc. Take lots of pics and do what Tammyh said, enjoy!

I think they come by it naturally. I recall you involved in several episodes but the red paint is more than I've seen before. Does CR have a blog? I haven't seen it if she does. Tell her to e-mail me and say hi.
