- I was born and raised in Maryland. I have lived in sunny Arizona for the past 22 years and have been married for 21. I have two beautiful children (most of the time anyway...) Shayne, 13 and Maya, 10. I graduated from ASU in 1998, then got my Master's Degree in Educational Technology in 2002. I have taught elementary students for the past 17 years. Currently I teach K-6 students in the computer lab and in the library.
Rick
Rick was born and raised in Vancover, Canada. He has lived in Arizona for 22 years also. He keeps busy with work during the day and us at night. We like going on trips around the state exploring and he still likes to get out and play golf when he can.
Shayne
Shayne is 13 years old. He is in seventh grade. He loves playing soccer.
Maya
Maya is 10 years old. She is in fourth grade at the school I work at. She likes swimming, drawing and writing.

I LOVE when they get so involved in something that seems so mundane.
Isn't it amazing what can be done with an empty box? I remember we used to take diaper boxes and make them into cars. We'd cut an opening out to sit in and we'd take turns pushing each other around. I used to take little boxes and put masking tape on them to use in my room for things. We had an endless supply of masking tape so it was a fun toy.
