Well, the boy is 7 years old today, I can hardly believe it! The time really flies. Here are a few baby pictures.

- I was born and raised in Maryland. I have lived in sunny Arizona for the past 22 years and have been married for 21. I have two beautiful children (most of the time anyway...) Shayne, 13 and Maya, 10. I graduated from ASU in 1998, then got my Master's Degree in Educational Technology in 2002. I have taught elementary students for the past 17 years. Currently I teach K-6 students in the computer lab and in the library.
Rick
Rick was born and raised in Vancover, Canada. He has lived in Arizona for 22 years also. He keeps busy with work during the day and us at night. We like going on trips around the state exploring and he still likes to get out and play golf when he can.
Shayne
Shayne is 13 years old. He is in seventh grade. He loves playing soccer.
Maya
Maya is 10 years old. She is in fourth grade at the school I work at. She likes swimming, drawing and writing.

Aww... don't they get old quickly? Before you know it he will be baptized and then going into young mens. We mothers have to enjoy every minute! :)
Happy Birthday Shayne Patrick!! Unbelievable how fast they grow!! I remember being on the phone with you, while we were both pregnant and discussing what we were going to name our babies, David Patrick, and Shayne Patrick..funny that we decided on Patrick as middle names separately..It is so fun to look back at Shayne's baby picture and see his personality in it...sweet, smiley, and calm...what a great kid he is...and such a wonderful big brother!! (he gets that from his uncle Dale, don't you agree?) ;).......

Does anyone else find it odd that they BOTH named their babies middle names after my husband? We know who must have really been a good big brother like influence!
I know how you feel, Dayle turns 8 on Monday and I am in awe that it has been 8 years. I remember her birth so vividly (yes, some of us don't forget AT ALL).
