Another cool website for kids of all ages is http://artpad.art.com/artpad/painter/. It is a simple paint program that has 3 tools: paintbrush, paint can and text (so you can type a message on your painting). It has many different colors, an "undo" button and a "start over" button. You can also change the size and opacity of your brushstrokes. There is a "save and send" button, which would be fun if you wanted to email your kiddo's artwork to friends and family. One thing to be careful of is if you select "hang in gallery" the back button cannot be used without deleting the painting. I think this website would be fun for anyone who is old enough to control a mouse on up. Of course this is no substitute for the real thing, but it is a lot neater!
