Just wanted to write a quick "Happy Birthday" to Rick today on his 36th. I like to remind him that he will ALWAYS be older than me! He and Shayne went to a Cardinal's game tonight to celebrate. We will have a family celebration tomorrow :)
Happy Birthday to Rick. My husband is older than me too. However, the way he gets away with it is that he claims that women age faster than men. Blah...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICK-ster!!! I'm not even a month late yet, I hope that doesn't cause health problems for you because of the shock. Don't worry, when John turned 40, I realized that actually, 40 is the new 20! So it will be a piece of cake. Speaking of, I hope you had good cake on your b-day. If not, you should go make Karen a cake, just because she is awesome! ("You could build her a cake or something" -Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite)
I was born and raised in Maryland. I have lived in sunny Arizona for the past 22 years and have been married for 21. I have two beautiful children (most of the time anyway...) Shayne, 13 and Maya, 10. I graduated from ASU in 1998, then got my Master's Degree in Educational Technology in 2002. I have taught elementary students for the past 17 years. Currently I teach K-6 students in the computer lab and in the library.
Rick was born and raised in Vancover, Canada. He has lived in Arizona for 22 years also. He keeps busy with work during the day and us at night. We like going on trips around the state exploring and he still likes to get out and play golf when he can.
Shayne
Shayne is 13 years old. He is in seventh grade. He loves playing soccer.
Maya
Maya is 10 years old. She is in fourth grade at the school I work at. She likes swimming, drawing and writing.

Happy Birthday to your hubby. I, too, remind Patrick that he will ALWAYS be older than me!
