Shayne has been playing baseball for about a month now. It has been a lot of fun watching him and his teammates learn the basics of baseball...and I really mean "basics". Last Saturday it was a little hot out during their game and he walked out to the plate like a sloth. We talked to him a little about "hustle" and he seemed to have a little bit better sense of urgency at his practice Wednesday night. He does pretty well hitting the ball. It's coach pitch, so that helps. Anyway, here are a few pictures.

He is so cute. I guess that only in AZ do people play baseball when it is almost winter. Oh, how I need to come out your way and visit :)
I have a hunch that shane's impressive golf swing is going to come in handy for baseball!
It's funny to think of it as "almost winter" because this is the first week that the highs have dipped below the 90s! We would love to have you come for a visit!

This year was our first year of team sports with Mike Jr. It is so fun to watch kids play... it is amazing how excited a mom can get when her kid is out there! :)
