Today is my sister's birthday. Well, yesterday was, but I wrote most of this yesterday. As many of you know, she is less than 2 years younger than me. Here is one of my favorite pictures of her, 2 summers ago, showing Maya how to fly a kite. The other is a cute baby picture of her (I was waiting to get that scanned...) Anyway, happy birthday Alison!

Karen, Sarah and I were talking about how much fun we used to have at girls camp just the other day...hard to believe it was like 20 years ago!

Dad says, "Lovely." I think both pictures are beautiful. We had Alison and family over for dinner on her birthday. We watched Wind and the Willows which brought back old memories of doing that with our first VCR in Mt. Rainier on October nights. Happy Halloween! Love, MOM
